I’ll reserve final judgement til the official reveal, but it looks fine. Not as good as the Mk7, but not terrible.

Not bad, the headlights seem very low, which I like. The window line also seems low, and is still at least almost level front to back. I’m glad to see it still has the signature line of the modern Golf where the rear door, and taillight/rear bumper line are parallel, I love that detail, I believe the Mk5 was the first to have it. It was close on the mk4 but not quite.

As usual, evolutionary design, not revolutionary. Fine with me, the target audience apparently. I could see rep lacing my 2016 with this in 2021 or 2022 if I don’t get something less practical .
Oh, wait, all the safety tech will be standard at that point
